The Unexpected Benefits of Talking to ChatGPT

Image created with Ideogram

I was on a call with a friend last week, chatting about business, AI, and life.

He mentioned having a pretty tough morning, with things kinda further spiraling downward after lunch.

During a break in his day, he decided to open ChatGPT on his phone and just start talking to it.

For about 15 minutes, he poured out everything swirling around in his head.

ChatGPT listened and offered very human-like feedback as he shared his thoughts.

He told me that for those 15 minutes, it was like having a personal coach and therapist, and he felt amazingly better after talking through everything on his mind.

I love this use case of ChatGPT.

While we often try to find the perfect prompt to get it to perform a specific task, sometimes it can be most helpful when we simply have an open-ended conversation with it, sharing whatever is on our mind.

💡 The "a-ha!" moment can come when we least expect it.

Do you ever just talk to ChatGPT?

Have you found it helpful to use it as a sounding board or a sympathetic ear when you need to process out loud whatever’s going on in your mind?

How to Create Revenue-Boosting Sales Pages
(From Start to Finish)

Image created with Ideogram

Scenario:

In the last few newsletters, we’ve covered AI workflows like how to:

  • create a lead magnet

  • write an email welcome sequence

  • create an offer

  • and more…

Now…

(Ideally), we need a sales page to sell our offer.

But creating a sales page that actually converts? Easier said than done. 😅

If we were to do this ourselves, it can be super time consuming to write.

And if you hire a copywriter, it can be a large investment.

👀 If we were to create a sales page ourselves, let’s look at what a typical workflow might look like:

💡 Step 1: Clarify your offer

  • What exactly are you selling?

  • What problem does it solve or desire does it fulfill?

  • Get clear on your unique value proposition.

  • Can you clearly articulate your promise?

    • Time: 2-4 hours (if you are not actually creating your offer)

    • Cost: $0

🕵️‍♀️ Step 2: Know your audience

  • Who’s your ideal customer for your offer?

  • What are their challenges, pain points, desires, and objections?

  • Obviously, the better you understand your audience, the more effectively you can speak to them.

    • Time: 2-4 hours

    • Cost: $0 (unless you invest in customer research)

📋 Step 3: Outline the structure of your sales page

  • A high-converting sales page has a specific flow and key elements.

  • Outline your header, headline, sub-headline, benefits, social proof, offer details, FAQs, and calls-to-action.

    • Time: 2-3 hours

    • Cost: $0

📝 Step 4: Write your copy

  • Sales copy and the ability to clearly communicate your offer is where you make your money

  • Your copy needs to be clear, compelling, persuasive…

  • You'll need attention-grabbing headlines, benefit-driven body copy, clear offer outline, FAQs and a strong calls-to-action

    • Time: 8-16 hours (or more)

    • Cost: $0 (unless you hire a copywriter, which would cost thousands)

🖌️ Step 5: Design your page

  • Your page design should be visually appealing, on-brand, and optimized for conversions.

  • Think strategically about your layout, images, and overall aesthetic.

    • Time: 4-8 hours, or if you use a template it’s done for you.

    • Cost: $0 (unless you hire a designer, which could cost anywhere from $1K - $2Kish)

🔌 Step 6: Integrate with your tech stack

  • You need to connect your sales page to the rest of your tools.

  • This means integrating with your payment processor, email CRM, and any other relevant tools.

    • Time: 2-3 hours

    • Cost: $0 (assuming you already have the necessary tools)

🚀 Step 7: Test and launch

  • Before going live, you’ve got to test your page to make sure everything looks and actually functions as it should. (most people skip this step, btw!)

  • Then, it's time to launch and start driving traffic!

    • Time: 1-2 hours

    • Cost: $0 (plus any ad spend if you're running paid traffic)

🏆 By following this detailed workflow, you can create a well-written, high-quality sales page.

However, as you can see, the process can be S-U-P-E-R time-consuming and resource-intensive, especially if you’ve never written a sales page before.

Time Taken To Do This: 20-40+ hours

💵 Cost: Big range, anywhere from $0 - $8,000(ish)

That’s a lot of time, energy and possibly, money.

So let’s figure out how to accomplish this in a fraction of the time and cost with AI…
